This film brings viewers along the journey of a friendship and romance that has spanned years between Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan). This movie begins with Briget Jones making some New Year's Resolutions, which are some of the most iconic in cinematic history! This film follows the witty and loveable Bridget (Renee Zellweger) as she weaves through the challenges of love, career, and self-improvement. This film begins and ends with a New Year's celebration and is one of our favourites – truly a must-watch before beginning your new year!
New Year's Eve (2011) dir. Garry Marshall
This film is jam-packed with a bunch of different big actors you would recognize! This film is jumping around to a bunch of different storylines, all centred around New Year’s Eve. This movie explores the connections and events that occur on this special night to make it even more memorable. This movie is easy and light, which makes it a great film to watch as you count down to midnight.
